Calezio is a calorie-tracking app published by Nevoa. This page explains what data the app uses, why, and who it is shared with. Questions: contact@nevoa.app.

1. No account, no Nevoa database

You don't need to create an account. Nevoa does not operate a database that holds your meals, your weight or your profile.

2. What stays on your phone

This information is stored only on your device:

• your profile: first name (optional), sex, age, height, weight, activity level and goal weight;
• your meals, with their calories, protein, carbs and fat;
• your weigh-ins, your streak, your levels and your achievements;
• your reminder settings.

This data is used to calculate your daily calorie target and to show your progress. If you uninstall the app, it is deleted from your phone.

3. Meal photos and descriptions

When you ask Calezio to estimate a meal, the photo of your plate (or the text you wrote) is sent, encrypted (HTTPS), to an intermediary server operated by Nevoa (hosted on Vercel), which relays it, without storing it, to the artificial intelligence service of DeepSeek. It returns the list of foods and their estimated portions.

• Only the meal photo or description is sent. Your profile, weight and first name are not sent.
• Calezio does not keep the photo: it is not stored by Nevoa.
• DeepSeek's servers may be located outside the European Union and the United States, including in China. Processing is subject to DeepSeek's privacy policy.

Please avoid photographing people or documents: the app is designed for meals only.

4. Camera, photo library and microphone

The app asks for access to the camera or your photo library only when you choose to add a meal photo. No photo is read outside of that choice.

If you use voice input to describe a meal, the app asks for microphone access and uses your phone's speech recognition service (Android, Google). Calezio does not record or keep the audio: only the recognized text is used, like a meal you typed. The microphone is active only while you dictate.

5. Subscription

Calezio is a subscription app, managed by Google Play and RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your subscription status (trial, active, expired) to unlock the app. Nevoa receives neither your card number nor your payment details.

6. Advertising measurement

The app uses AppsFlyer to find out whether an ad helped you discover Calezio. For this, AppsFlyer receives your device's advertising ID, technical information (device model, operating system) and a few events: onboarding completed, offer viewed, trial started and subscription purchased. The content of your meals, your weight and your profile are never sent.

You can limit or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings (Google, Ads).

7. Notifications

Reminders (meals, weigh-in, end of trial) are notifications scheduled on your phone. They don't go through any server. You can decline or turn them off at any time in the app or in your phone settings.

8. Health

Calories from a photo are estimates. Calezio is not a medical device, does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian, and does not provide medical advice. Talk to a healthcare professional before changing your diet.

9. Delete your data

Calezio, published by Nevoa, does not create accounts. Here is how to have your data erased.

1. On your phone: uninstall the app. Your profile, meals, weigh-ins, reminders and locally saved photos are then removed from the device.
2. For everything else: send an email to contact@nevoa.app with the subject “Calezio deletion” and, if you have it, your Google Play subscription ID. We pass the request on to the providers concerned and reply within 30 days.

What is erased, and what may remain for a while:

• Profile, meals, weigh-ins, reminders: only on your phone. Uninstalling erases them. Nevoa has no copy.
• Meal photo or text: sent to DeepSeek, through Nevoa's intermediary server, for the time of the estimate, and not kept by Nevoa. DeepSeek handles it under its own policy.
• Subscription: RevenueCat keeps the subscription status for as long as needed for billing and legal obligations, then deletes it on request.
• Advertising measurement: AppsFlyer keeps the advertising ID and the install, trial and purchase events for the period set by its contract, then deletes them on request. You can also reset your advertising ID in your phone settings.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California and other U.S. states, or the European Economic Area), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to object to or limit certain processing. Write to contact@nevoa.app and we will reply within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• Advertising measurement by AppsFlyer (section 6) may be considered “sharing” for advertising purposes under some U.S. state laws. You can opt out by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your phone settings, or by emailing us.
• We do not use your meals, weight or profile for advertising.
• If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also contact your local data protection authority.

11. Minimum age

Calezio is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, the update date above will be changed.
